The University of Nottingham, described by The Sunday Times University Guide 2015 as “one of the first to embrace a truly international approach to higher education”, has award-winning campuses in the United Kingdom, China, and Malaysia and hosts a truly global academic community in all three countries. The University of Nottingham is placed in the top 1% of universities internationally by QS World University Rankings.
The University of Nottingham approached us with a request to improve the functionality and interior design to the library at the Ningbo campus in China. The space required increased seating, custom furniture, and improved lighting. Students also requested more comfortable seating and a designated area for using dictionaries. That was the start of a long and strong cooperation between Volo and the University.
